I’m Joe, a Pensacola-based designer and illustrator with 12 years of experience.

I’ve worked across branding, illustration, packaging, and motion design, collaborating with teams to turn complex ideas into clear, thoughtful visuals. At HatchMark Studio, I’m a Senior Graphic Designer and mentor through our internship program, The Hatchery. I do my best work when I’m helping others and contributing to something larger than myself, and I approach every project with the same goal: to create work that feels meaningful, approachable, and genuinely enjoyable to engage with.

What I do

  • Custom illustration that adds warmth, texture, and personality to brands. From campaign visuals to editorial and packaging work, I create imagery that feels human, expressive, and distinctly its own.

  • Motion graphics and animation. I create animated content for social, campaigns, and explainer videos that help explain ideas, tell a story, and keep people watching.

  • Brand identities built to grow with an organization. I develop logos, color palettes, typography, and brand guidelines that create clarity and consistency across everything a brand puts out.

I tend to do my best work in collaborative, low-ego environments where people can share ideas openly and build on each other’s thinking.

Sometimes that means leading a project, sometimes it means jumping in and supporting a larger team. Either way, I value steady feedback and clear communication along the way.
